Dr Jummy Okoya is the Interim Dean of Office for Institutional Equity, and Chair of the Women’s Network, University of East London, and an Associate Fellow, Oxford University Said Business School.

Dr Okoya, is an Executive and Leadership Coach at London Business School, EDI Consultant, Cambridge Judge Business School, Lead Facilitator AstraZeneca Leadership Development Programme. Member of the Chartered Association of Business School’s Race Equity Action Group and Board Member of CMI Women.

Dr Okoya is passionate about Gender Equity and she is a national leading figure in advocation for more Black Female Professors and creating a pipeline of Black Female PhD students into academia.

Jummy holds a PhD in Human Resource Management and Entrepreneurship, MSc in Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology; she is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Fellow of Chartered Management Institute, a Chartered academic member of Chartered Institute for Personnel Development and an ICF Qualified Coach PCC.

Listed among top 10 Diversity Allies for the Education Sector in the UK in 2022 and Top 50 Inspirational Black Women in the UK in 2019 and nominated for excellence in diversity in Higher Education in 2017.
