Charmaine Roche is the Director of Lifeflowbalance Coaching and Consulting Ltd and an Association for Coaching Accredited Executive Coach, CSA Accredited Coach Supervisor, and PhD researcher. She was a recipient of the IOC, Coaching for Social Good Award, 2023 and the Coaching at Work Coaching Champion Award Winner 2022.

As a coach trainer, she is pioneering decoloniality as a philosophical base for a liberatory approach to coaching, mentoring and supervision based on the emerging findings from her PhD: The Ethics of Coaching for Social Change in Oppressive Contexts.

She is an Associate Tutor on the PG Diploma and Masters in Coaching at the University of Warwick, UK contributing a decolonial perspective to their ethics curriculum.

Her publications: Decolonising Coaching, Roche, 2020; Racial Justice, Equity and Belonging in Coaching, Roche & Passmore, 2021; Anti-racism in coaching: a global call to action, Roche & Passmore, 2022; “We don’t see colour!”: How Executive Coaching Can Help Leaders to Create Inclusive Corporate Cultures by Acknowledging Structural Racism in Its Ecosystem, Roche & Passmore, 2023; Decolonising Reflective Practice and Supervision, Roche 2023; A Decolonial Take on Ethical Maturity, Roche, 2023; are making a significant contribution to an emerging critical movement within coaching concerned with serving social change, equity and social justice.
